First Aid Course (and refresher)
Target group
This course is for employees of companies that want more, or more extensive, in-house expertise for administering first aid in the event of accidents. Every employee can follow this first aid course, irrespective of his or her level of education or experience.
What does a first aider do?
As a first aider you will have to administer first aid to people suffering from a broad range of medical complaints. You might, for example, be required to tend to a patient with a broken limb, or assist a diabetic patient who has become poorly or help someone who is having an epileptic fit. During the course you will learn how to recognise and react to the most common forms of illnesses and medical requirements.
Practical assignments
The course comprises several practical assignments. You will, for example, learn how to apply a variety of bandages and dressings. You will also practice
