HSR Practical Day

Target group
The purpose of the Health and Safety Representative (HSR) Practical Day is to give HSRs the opportunity to gain experience in carrying out their relevant tasks in company-specific situations. It allows them to apply the skills that they have learned to practical situations.

What will HSRs learn during a Practical Day?
You will learn, for example, how to extinguish a fire in its early stages, how to evacuate a building and how to limit the repercussions of a calamity. You will also practice using the skills necessary for administering life-saving first aid and the transport of casualties.

Practical assignments
The practice drills have been designed in accordance with the relevant models followed by professional emergency services, such as the fire, ambulance and military services and the police.

We advise that you organise these drills in your own organisation so that the repercussions of any calamity will be as relevant to your organisation as possible.

The practical day content is determined beforehand, in close consultation with participants. The day is concluded with an extensive evaluation.
