Resuscitation / AED Course (and refresher)

Target group
The Resuscitation/AED Course is for employees who want to know how to administer first aid and provide medical care to someone who has had a heart attack. The course is ideally suited for persons who have not had first aid training.

What can the Resuscitation/AED course teach you?
How do you recognise a heart attack, what should you do first, what should you do if AED equipment is not available, how long should you try to keep resuscitating the patient? This course will teach you what you should do while waiting for an ambulance to arrive. An AED machine is the most effective instrument to increase the patient’s chances of survival, but it will not always be available. Starting immediate resuscitation while an AED machine is being fetched, for example, will double a heart attack patient’s chances of survival.
