Every year, some 22,000 people visit our well-equipped first aid post at Schiphol, where the help we give them can range from administering a dressing for a minor wound to treating a heart attack.
Airport Medical Services’ ambulance service is available to attend to accidents or life-threatening situations, 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. In collaboration with the local Kennemerland safety authority, this ambulance service also plays a key role in the airport’s Emergency Contingency Plan.
